Proposed application

There is an immense number of possible applications for this bioplastic, but the main goal was to find a solution to air pollution. A series of steps and studies were required to obtain the most accurate and optimum application for this material.

For both applications the best geometry to design on was an hexagon. This geometry is the only regular polygon in which the equality of its sides and the radius of the circumference circumscribed to it are fulfilled, helping its construction.The modules were created using the Fluid Flow Software to maximize airflow and pressure and achieve the highest level of adsorption possible and making full use of the material’s properties.


A modular system able to be put in walls and ceilings adsorbing pollutants in interior spaces.



Provides an alternative facade system designed according to the morphology of airflow allowing to be organized according to the incidence in the area.
